Alaska Rider has the largest and most diverse Motorcycle rental fleet in Alaska. We have over 40 dualsport motorcycles in our fleet outfitted with everything you need from Twisted Throttle and ready to take you on the adventure of a lifetime. The bikes are licensed and insured for the road. We also offer an Additional Motorcycle Liability Reduction for our customers. There are many spectacular ALASKA DESTINATIONS for you to explore by motorcycle with postcard scenery around every turn. One of the summits in Adventure Touring is to ride the Dalton Highway to PRUDHOE BAY. This is an incredible ride but please make sure you are properly prepared. Proper gear is a necessity up north and we can rent you a Scorpion XDR Riding Suit for your ride. We also strongly recommend joining MEDJET ASSIST and renting a Satellite Phone. Taxes and Fees:

All motorcycle rental are subject to a 10% Alaska State Vehicle Rental Tax.

All Motorcycles bound for Prudhoe Bay or Inuvik are subject to an additional $500.00 surcharge.

Motorcycle Rental Requirements:

25 years of age or older
3 years riding experience on a same size motorcycle
Valid motorcycle lisence (must be present at time of pick-up)
$1000 damage deposit on Visa or Mastercard

Deposit Payment:

A $500.00 per motorcycle deposit is due at the time of booking to reserve your motorcycles. If the total cost of the motorcycle rentals is less than $500.00, the full amount of rental will be considered the deposit. The deposit will be applied to the total cost of the rental. The total balance for the rental is due 30 days prior to pickup.

Damage Deposit:

A damage deposit is taken on a Visa or MasterCard at the time of pick-up. We do not charge the card, we simply authorize it. The authorization is released upon return and inspection of the motorcycle. Sorry, no Debit Cards for the damage deposit!

Damage deposit amount:

1. $1,000 for Yamaha XT225, Yamaha XT250, Kawasaki KLR 650, Suzuki DL650

2. $2,000 for BMW 650GS, BMW 800GS, BMW 1200GS, BMW 1200GS Adventure

Motorcycle Rental Payment:

Full payment for motorcycle rentals is due 30 days prior to rental pickup date.

Additional Motorcycle Liability Reduction:

Our optional Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is $25.00 per riding day (cost not to exceed $300). When you purchase this agreement, you will be responsible for only the first $2,000 of bike damages. If you decline this option you are responsible for all expenses. (Please note that the LDW does not cover personal property damage or bodily injury.) The Loss Damage Waiver will reduce but not eliminate responsibility for damage or theft of the motorcycle. The renter must comply with the terms and conditions in the rental Agreement. We recommend that you contact your motorcycle insurance carrier to see if you are covered for rental motorcycles.
